Young Investigator Award

The awards are designed to encourage young investigators to promote quality research in Endoscopy Surgery. The Young Investigator Awards, worth USD 500 each, will be awarded to researchers who submit abstracts to WCES 2022.

Eligibility

• -Presenters of accepted abstracts are eligible.
• -Presenters should be under the age of 45 (Year of birth 1977 or after).
• -The presenter must complete registration.
• -The final decision will be made by the Organizing Committee.
• -Those who previously submitted the necessary documents don’t need to apply again, but should be sure to include their date of birth on the CV

Necessary Documents*

• -If you are nominated as an awardee, we will request a copy of your passport for confirmation.
• -Recommendation letter from the director of your organization including his/her email address and phone number

Others*

1. 1.The WCES 2022 Scientific Review Committee will conduct the reviewing process and notify awardees by e-mail
2. 2.If you have applied, the Secretariat will ask you to submit the Necessary Documents below by the presenter e-mail individually.
3. 3.Only one investigator award will be awarded per application, even if more than one abstract is submitted.
4. 4.The investigator award will only be given to the presenter specified on the abstract.
5. 5.Awardees will receive the award by wire transfer after the conference.
6. 6.If any documentation or information is found to be false, the award will be cancelled.

Best Oral/Video/Poster Presentation Award

Upon submitting your abstract, you will be automatically eligible. Winners will be determined through review.

Eligibility

• -The applicant should be the presenter of an abstract accepted for either Oral/Poster/Video presentation.
• -The applicant must pay the registration fees and attend the congress.

Notification

• -The Scientific Committee will review the abstracts.
• -Awardees will be notified and will receive a cash prize after the congress.

Travel Grant

We are pleased to announce that the WCES 2022 Organizing Committee will offer travel grants to presenters coming from around the world. We would like to especially encourage participants from developing countries to attend. Travel grants will be given to presenters whose abstracts have been accepted.

Eligibility

• -Presenters of accepted abstracts are eligible.
• -The applicant offered free registration fees and must attend the congress.

Notification

• -The final decision will be made by the Scientific Committee.,
• -The secretariat will contact the awardees individually.
